And ours goes back about 15 years, when the three sisters decided to look for a big and beautiful house where we could spend the holidays together (with children and husbands included, of course!). It was a very fun time, as we went off at the weekend to see towns, houses, places and we drove miles and miles…   On some occasions, just getting out of the car we already knew that the place was not the chosen one (because it stank or there was a road right in front or a farm blocking our view). In others, the location was good, but the house was too small (we needed at least four rooms), too expensive or too old and dilapidated… We even had it “stolen” from the streets on one occasion! (at that time everything was sold very quickly). But finally, one day Marina found an old warehouse in a small town near Cervera. We went to visit him and our eyes opened like oranges. We were already seeing each other there (and you see, the place wasn’t too good), because it had a special charm and, in addition, it had the garden that we also asked for (yes, we wanted a lot of things ourselves!). We bought it from Jaume (our dear neighbor who always helps us!) and we started to do some works that took longer than we thought due to a bad professional. Luckily we contacted a builder in the area who was the one who finished restoring our house (thanks Toni, for saving us!). But the day came when we could go to spend the first Easter. There was still a lot to be done, but it was so exciting… Over time we have finished the house and have been bringing friends there, so they can discover this very special place in the world that is La Segarra. No one has ever left disappointed! And now, we also want to share this space with anyone who wants to come visit us. Are you coming?
